WEEKEND IN КIEV (3 days /2 nights)

Arrival to Borispol. This ancient city is the capital of Ukraine and one of the biggest cities in Europe. It has been standing on steep hills overlooking the Dnipro River for more than 1,500 years. Check-in and dinner at a hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. The first visit of the day will be to the golden-domed Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Monastery, the most famous sight-seeing object in Kiev, which has been included in UNESCO World Heritage Register. This twenty-eight hector functioning monastery contains numerous churches, towers, a printing works, miles of maze like underground tunnels containing numerous churches and some of Kiev's riches museums.

After delicious lunch at local restaurant you will have a tour to St. Sophia Cathedral and Monastery Complex, a real pearl of the world architecture. St. Sophia's thirteen gorgeous golden domes nicely blend with the city skyline.

Further on you will move to St.Andrew’s Church, the Ukrainian Baroque church designed in 1754 by the Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. It is decorated and in applied ornament and timber fretwork. Return to the hotel or local restaurant for dinner with folklore performance.

After breakfast at the hotel spend some free tie in the morning for shopping or revisiting one of Kyiv’s many museums. Our advice is to visit Andrievskiy Uzviz, the most ancient and steep street in Kyiv, which is Kyivites' favorite place for outdoor fairs, festivals, and concerts.

Check out followed by departure transfer.
