Day 1

Arrival on the Henry Coanda International Airport (16 km from Bucharest)

On our way we can see: the Baneasa Local Airport, the House of the Free Press, the Herastrau Park, the Village Museum, the Arch of Triumph, the Victoria Place – the entrance point to the center of the city.

Transfer to the hotel.

Accomodation in a 4**** or 3 *** hotel

According to the flight schedule – a short sightseeing tour in town.

Day 2

Sightseeing Bucharest tour

Departure to Sibiu

On our way: a visit to the Orthodox Monastery of Cozia, located on the beautiful valley of the River Olt. The church was built between 1387 – 1391 by Prince Mircea, grandfather to Vlad the Impaller – Dracula.

Arrival in Sibiu

Accomodation in Sibiu in a 4**** hotel or rural guesthouses

Medieval Sibiu "by night"

We will visit: The Tower of the Council, the Liars’ Bridge, The Protestant Church (dated 1321), the Old Town Hall, the Bruckental Museum, the Jesuit Baroque Church

Sibiu – a jewel of the Romanian Medieval times.

Day 3

Departure from Sibiu to Medias – Tarnaveni – Iernut – Targu-Mures – Reghin – Targu-Mures – Sighisoara

On the way: we will visit the ruins of the Fortress of Slimnic, the Fortress in Seica Mica (in Valea Viilor), the most impressive of all the region around.

In Medias: the Gothic Church (with wall paintings dated in the early XV century and a magnificent altar dated in the late XV century)

In this area you can admire the most valuable and most beautiful Medieval monuments, the Saxon fortresses – monuments included in the UNESCO heritage list: Bazna, Boian, Bagaciu, Mosna, Alma Vii, Richis, Biertan, some of them not properly preserved.

Day 4

The Town of Sighisoara: a whole morning at your disposal to visit the wonderful highlights of this citadel – a splendour unaltered in time and ages.

Departure to Brasov – Sinaia

On the way: the town of Brasov – another jewel of Transilvania, the Old Square, the famous Black Church that dominates the entire square, a dreaming landscape of the surrounding mountains.

Arrival in Sinaia – one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in Romania. Here, the Romanian Royal Family decided to build the Castles of Peles and Pelisor (architectural jewels). The Orthodox Monastery of Sinaia.

Accomodation in a 4**** hotel.

Dinner with folklore show

Day 5

Departure to Bucharest. According to the flight schedule you may visit the surroundings (the Orthodox Monastery of Caldarusani, the Mogosoaia Palace)

Return home, transfer to the airport
