Explore the Hawaii Islands' Eastern Coast after sunrise and learn about Polynesian Navigation.
Return to Hilo for entrance into the Hawai'ian astronomy Center called 'Imiloa (search for knowledge).
Arrangement for 4X4 access is required as we continue our adventure up to Maunakea Summit 13,796ft*. We'll explore the realm of the Goddess Poli'ahu and see why Hawai'ian's would travel to such lengths to be up there. Afterward we will return to the Elison Onizuka Visitor Information Station "VIS" for star gazing.
