Day 1 – Spend a full day viewing elephants in the Addo Elephant National Park.

Here we can watch these fascinating animals as they socialize in their family herds at the waterholes and interact with each other in their natural habitat.

We sleep over in the Addo Park or similar.

Day 2 – We leave Addo and travel to The Crags-just past Storms River, on the Garden Route, to take a walk with tamed Elephants. We are able to walk into the forest with an elephant following, with their trunk in your hand. This is truly a wonderful experience to be able to touch these creatures, the largest land animals in the World.

From there, a short drive to Monkey Land and/or Birds of Rapture Park and after a light lunch we join a guided tour through this large forest to view monkeys and/or birds as they frolic/fly around you in the trees. We continue along the Garden Route to the Knysna Elephant Park to another type of elephant experience.

We sleep over at the Park in an apartment adjacent to the elephant boma where you are able to watch the elephants from your apartment window during the night. You might even have an elephant awakening you with snoring!!

Day 3 – We spend this day interacting with the elephants and get really up close for a different experience feeding them and hugging the babies.

We spend this morning enjoying the elephant family after which we depart for Port Elizabeth.
