This visit will include all the most interesting spots in Barcelona. We can start the tour in Plaza de España to see the buildings constructed specially for the Universal Exhibition of 1929. Then we shall drive up the mountain called Montjuïc, passing the Pueblo Español or Spanish Village and up to the Olympic Stadium for the 1992 Games. After a stop to visit the Olympic Stadium, we will continue to a great vantage point from which you can see the whole city. After a pause there, we will continue to take a walk around the city’s most famous streets, namely: Las Ramblas and Paseo de Gracia, where you can see some of the works by the famous architect, Gaudí. A tour of two of his houses, Casa Batlló and the Casa Milá and then on to the Sagrada Familia (the Gaudí Cathedral still under construction). A visit to the front of this spectacular church and then a visit to the old town known as the Barrio Gótico or Gothic Quarter. A stroll through to Barcelona’s mediaeval Cathedral and the surrounding squares. Return to starting point and end of the tour.
