Wildest Trails of Lebanon
The Lebanon Mountain Trail is a 440km national hiking trail that crosses Lebanon from north to south and vice versa on a variable altitude between 500 & 1900m above see level and passing threw more than 75 villages and allowing hikers to visit and explore one of the most diversed and beautiful mountain range in the Middle East, plus discovering the unique natural and cultural heritage of Lebanon comunities.
This trail expands economic opportunities in rurl areas.
Visitors can admire all kind of sceneries from the Roman temples,mediaval monasteries and castles, world heritage and sacred valleys and mountains,mediterranean forests and the protected areas plus the amazing cedars grooves.
The trips are divided in many sections, from one day walk to 26 days, depending on trekkers.
