Day 1 Mount Kenya

Met on arrival by Trip Africa representative. After a brief welcome and safari briefing, drive north through the agricultural and hilly mosaic of small scale farms to your hotel situated in the shadow of Mt Kenya, Kenya's highest mountain.

Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge build deep in the forest. Enjoy game viewing at the floodlit water hole and salt lick from the comfortable lounge areas or from your room at any time of night. Dinner and overnight Serena Mountain Lodge or similar FB 200kms Approx 4 1/2hrs NB.

A warm jacket or sweater is highly recommended.

Day 2 Nakuru

Breakfast and check out. Drive via Nyahururu with stop at the Thompson Falls, named after Joseph Thompson who was the first European to walk from port city of Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the early 1880s. Proceed to Lake Nakuru,famous as home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingo. This park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhino and the elusive leopard. Arrive in time for lunch. After a brief rest, enjoy game drive by the lake shores lined with flamingos, host of other birds and wildlife. Return to your lodge at sunset. Dinner and overnight Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar FB 210kms Approx 4 1/2hrs

Day 3 Masai Mara

Drive via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive for lunch. Enjoy afternoon game drive in this vast and expansive reserve teeming with game. Dinner and overnight Keekorok Lodge or similar FB 365kms Approx 6hrs

Day 4 Masai Mara

Full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game viewing drives in search of the big five. Masai Mara is the northern most extension of the Serengeti Plains and one of the richest wildlife Game Reserves. You may opt to visit a traditional Masai Manyatta and experience the culture of this world famous community. The Masai still live as they did for centuries. Interact with these nomadic people and experience their way of life as you learn about their customs and traditions. All meals and overnight Keekorok Lodge or similar FB

Day 5 Nairobi
