Consider a real getaway canoe trip. The ideal way to start a lifetime of wilderness adventure - or just to continue it. That’s what these trips are all about. Good swimming beaches, lakeside cliffs to jump from, idyllic pine, cedar and hemlock shaded campsites, wildlife (moose, beaver, great blue herons, barred owls, sandpipers, ravens, black ducks, mergansers, bank swallows and kingfishers) and lots of time to learn or improve upon the skills of canoe camping in a remote wilderness setting. Your guide has a pack full of campfire tales, games, popcorn parties and marshmallow roasts that will cap off the trip as an unforgettable and rewarding family experience.

Trips take place in the Papineau-Labelle Wildlife Reserve or Mont Tremblant Provincial Park in Quebec (near Montreal) They are ideal locations for 2 to 5-day canoe trips on beautiful lakes where the emphasis could be on a return to nature expedition and spending quality time with your children, friends or family. Native peoples used the portage trails and campsites long before the white man discovered them. There are also some hiking trails to mountaintops with incredible views.

There are some short, easy rapids in both areas, ideal for learning some white water skills.

Reservations are required well in advance.
