Romantic Vacations

Travellers looking for romance want special experiences and amenities, and we love sharing our favorite romantic places, and most memorable experiences in all of our romantic destinations. These holidays are designed to offer maximum variety in a limited period, with plenty of not-too-strenuous activities and as many creature comforts as possible.

These adventures are based from deluxe accommodations in cities to small and intimate eco-lodges providing comfort and security in the mountains. And where lodging facilities are not available, we will be camping in style and comfort, using the best equipment including roomy two person tents.

Below is just a sample of many itineraries we have for Romantic Holidays, the rest are not featured here

Himalayan ParadiseA well balanced mixture of adventure activities and free time

Enjoy the best of Nepal's highlights with your loved one: trekking, wildlife safari and Himalayan vistas. This is doing the Himalaya 'in style'. Two nights are spent on the famous 'Royal Trek' where your tented camp offers excellent levels of comfort. The warm smiling people, spectacular scenery and medieval cities are just some of the wonderful memories which will stay in your heart.

Itinerary

Day 1-2 Kathmandu (1,330m)

Arrive in Kathmandu where you will be met and transferred to Hotel Hyatt Regency. The highlight of the evening is a traditional dinner at Kathmandu's finest Nepali restaurant. On Day 2 we gain an insight into the rich cultural heritage of Nepal's capital as we make an early morning ascent to the Swayambunath Stupa overlooking the city, visit the mammoth Bodhnath Stupa and explore the many Hindu temples in the centre of the old city, Durbar Square.

Day 3 Nagarkot (2,175m)

An early start to the day with a magnificent mountain flight which takes you over the Himalaya and near Everest, almost close enough to touch. The flight, of course, is subject to weather condition.

Leaving the bustle of Kathmandu behind we head out into the hills to the peace and quiet of Nagarkot, the best place in the valley for classic mountain views. En route we visit the medieval city of Bhakatapur. Feeling more like a village, this is a timeless and atmospheric town of beautiful temples, palaces and squares. Overnight at the posh Club Himalaya

Day 4-5 Pokhara (820m)

An early morning start to enjoy the sunrise over a stunning panorama of Himalayan snowy peaks. Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a lovely lakeside town at the foot of the Annapurna Range. Visit one of the best viewing points, sample lakeside's many distractions or simply laze around on the lake. Stay for two nights at Phulbari Resort and Spa

Day 6 -7 The Royal Trek

Short drive to Bijaypur (1,130m) and commence trek on a quiet but easy trail through villages to Kalikasthan (1,650m), before ending the trek by camping on the shores of magnificent Begnas Lake (630m). You gain a sense of satisfaction from walking the hilly terrain, and the awesome views and friendly faces you encounter on the trail make for a great experience. Accommodation is at luxurious tented camps

Day 8-9 Bandipur (1,030m)

Short drive to Bandipur. This charming hilltop village is a wonderful place to experience Newari village life and enjoy spectacular views of the Annapurna and Manaslu Ranges. Well off the main tourist track, it is unlikely that you will meet many other travellers here. Here, we explore the local countryside and visit Siddha Gupha, the Himalaya's largest cave. o/n Bandipur Mountain Resort

Day 10-11 Chitwan (126m)

Drive down to Chitwan National Park. Covering almost 1000 sq km area, this is Nepal's most famous park and offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Asia. Accompanied by expert naturalist guides we go on the elephant safari through grasslands and dense forest to stalk tigers, bears and rhinoceroses. We overnight at the upmarket Chitwan Jungle Lodge.

Day 12 Daman (2,322m)

After this brief Terai sojourn, we drive back to the middle hills through the quiet but scenic highway to overnight at Daman which is arguably one of the best viewing points in Nepal. It offers a stupendous view of 400km of the Himalayan range including 8 of the world's 14 highest peaks. o/n Everest Panorama Resort

Day 13 Kathmandu

A very scenic drive returns us to Kathmandu by noon, leaving the rest of the day to explore more of this legendary city.

Day 14 Trip concludes, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
