Kirsten’s dedication to what he does is astonishing. His knowledge of the bush and history of South Africa is a huge contributor to what makes him a guide with a difference. Apart from being fluent in Italian and Spanish, Kirsten also speaks several African languages which make him a gem to travel with. I’ve seen Kirsten take time to guide his guests off the beaten track, around tourist traps and to the heart of what South Africa - in all its magnificence - is really about. He makes us aware of every little part of this place, from the tiniest flower on Table Mountain and the hummingbird that feeds from it, to the enormous Wales in Hermanus and the mighty African Elephant in Kruger. He is man that has a passion for this continent…for this earth.
