Hi everyone, my name is Octavian-Eugeniu Manu and with this tour i want to introduce you to the true Romania and its history, the history of the dacians and their successors. I'll show you the most sacred dacian places, ancient temples, sacrificial places and fortresses, all built on older settlements, thousands of years old. From the actual footmarks left in the rock of the mountain tops by people in the dawn of the history to ancient carved megaliths and from dacian settlements to medieval fortresses placed over them, you will see sites that usual tours will not show you. Besides the historical value, it is said that many of this places are rich in energies that heal diseases and make your wishes come true. The road we will follow will get us near better known places that are worth seeing so we will do that also. You will experience the traditional home cooked food of the villagers, dinner and breakfast being served by our hosts. In one place you will be able, if u want, to catch your own dinner, trout that is, and than grill it. If the hunters have a good day you will also enjoy some wild roasted dinner. On top of that villagers will share with you the local wine and fruit brandy - tuica or palinca, so, besides the organic food, you will drink the true, organic, romanian drinks, not the commercial, full of chemicals ones. If u don't serve alcohol, you will enjoy in many places natural water from normal and mineral springs, many of them being the same from which the dacian kings and high priests drank thousands of years ago. All accommodations are in beautiful houses or pensions, near mountain rivers and with dreamy surroundings. You will visit and taste the unseen Romania, the true one. After the seven days spent here you will be initiated in a part of the dacian and romanian history and lifestyle. You will feel like coming back to fill the void, I promise you that.

Transportation will be chosen according to the number of participants: car or minibus.

The tour includes exclusive lectures on the history of the dacians and medieval kings, from Mircea cel Batran to his nephew, Vlad Tepes.

Good non slippery boots are required because some places can be visited only on foot, forest roads or ascending forrest paths and trails being the only access routes to them.

The tour is customizable. If u want we can stay more in a place and enjoy the local landscape, food and drinks or visit other places.
