Ethiopia is a little known but fascinating and fulfilling destination for the avid birdwatcher and nature lover. Ethiopia has 860 species of birds out of which at least 30 are endemic. High mountains and table lands, deep gorges, vast plains and grasslands, rivers and lakes combine providing birds with favoourable habitats. Diverse topography and resulting difference in climate is also a major factor for bird abundance and diversity. On this 12 day trip you will visit savannah, mountain, moorland, forest, and rift valley lake habitats in the country. You will see at least 400-430 species of birds on this itinerary.
