Only 35 minutes far from Santiago you’ll find the Maipo Canyon. Without doubt this unique place is one of the great natural wonders of Chile. It’s a natural paradise in the middle of Chileans Central Andes.

HISLANDES AVENTURAS invites you to live an unforgettable adventure in this spectacular surrounding.

Learn about unique traditions and the interesting local culture; Feel the wind in your hair at the feet of more the 6000 meters high mountains; Observe a unique ecosystem with its beautiful vegetation and animals. And if you are lucky you’ll se the majestic flight of the condor.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR:

The 10 hour and 100 miles excursion through the Maipo Canyon offers you the unique opportunity to explore the Central Andes Cordillera from the bottom to the top. If you wish you can drive one of our 4x4 All Terrain Vehicles by yourself experiencing your personal 4x4 adventure.

The Excursion begins as early as 7:30 am, when you will be picked up at your hotel. The first stop we make in a beautiful natural surrounding at the entrance of the Canyon, here we will make a short briefing about the tour. We use this break to take a coffee and a snack.

Afterwards our 4x4 jeep convoy starts to go into a set of three different canyons, each with its own natural splendour. You will discover pristine waters at the El Yeso reservoir and will have a choice of kayaking, swimming, walking or just relaxing. We are going to stay there about two hours.

Later on we continue our ride to take an unforgettable open air bath in the Colina thermal hot springs at 10.000 ft altitude with an amazing view of the surrounding glaciers and Andean peaks. Our specialized cars allow us to reach this isolated place with its natural warm water pool. Here we take our time to relax and enjoy a breathtaking bath.

After all these activities we will bring you back to your hotel.

During the whole trip we offer in several opportunities delicious Chilean food. Individual open soft drinks will be available for each passenger at all time during the tour.
